Chapter 5: Alluring Savior

Liuwen wins over Jue Chen with her delicious peach cake and soon, she visits Jinxue Manor.

"Liuwen!" Chu exclaims happily on seeing her friend.

"How is my master?" Liuwen and Chu passes the barrier and walks into the manor.

"She is recuperating, why are you here?" Chu asks anxiously.

"Don't you miss me? I am going back" Liuwen teases and Chu playfully pulls her back from heading out as they laugh happily.

Deity Lin, who is Liuwen's first master asks to see Liuwen privately and Liuwen walks into the Lin's manor.

"Master" she bows on seeing deity Lin.

"Rise" Deity Lin beacons and Liuwen stands upright.

"Since childhood, you have always been a playful child but one won't be a child forever." Deity Lin pauses.

"You have to be careful and prevent being angry, heaven is a dangerous place so mind your behavior" Deity Lin walks over to a cupboard, opens it, and brings out a small wooden box.

"I have refined a prowess elixir using peach dew; it will help you during cultivation. Take it." Deity Lin hands the small box over to Liuwen which she receives courteously with a smile.

"Thank you master" Liuwen bows and leaves the manor.

While heading out of the Jinxue pavilion, Liuwen runs into a rare aura and follows it immediately.

"Oh –uh!" Liuwen screams while falling into a deep cave, soon she lands in a cloudy cave called "Unconscious Pit".

Liuwen wanders around searching for an exit and she bumps against a strong barrier.

"Why is the barrier here so strong?" She mutters anxiously to herself as she starts unleashing her prowess in other to access the blocked path, immediately the mysterious mark on her forehead starts blinking and she unconsciously touches it with a weird confused look.

"Who are you?" someone calls out from a distance and Liuwen turns in the direction.

"Nothing," Liuwen shakes her head awkwardly as the male creature approaches her.

"Are you lost too?" Liuwen nods fearfully and the man laughs mockingly.

"I am Yang from the demon realm." He introduces and Liuwen starts walking backward in fear.

In the heaven realm, Jue Chen is painting when his prowess receives a signal.

"Fei Jung?" He mutters in a low tone to himself and immediately vanishes graciously.

"Master." Ling Quan calls but Jue Chen has already gone.

Jue Chen appears graciously into the forbidden demon cave where demon lord Fei Jung is sealed and inspects the surroundings, he unleashes his prowess to strengthen the barrier and Fei Jung laughs mockingly.

"Ha ha ha ha. Jue Chen! I will soon be out, wait and see!" The voice echoes and fades gradually and Jue Chen vanishes.

"Yang, how did you come here?" Liuwen asks Yang anxiously as they walk together in search of an exit.

"I fell off but that doesn't mean I can't get out of here," Yang informs confidently and Liuwen grabs his hands with a mischievous smile.

"Please take me out of here," Yang smirks and pulls her away making way to cross his arms proudly.

"You heavenly fairies, I thought you were as mighty as the heavenly Emperor," Yang said mockingly.

"Your master must be a lazy immortal," Yang adds with a snort.

"Don't you dare blame my master!" Liuwen shuns immediately startling Yang, then she recoils.

"I'm the lazy one, not my master but I owe you one if you take me out of here," Liuwen said while twisting her robe with her finger nervously, Yang scoffs annoyingly and holds Liuwen's waist.

"What are you doing?" Liuwen tries to quarrel and they vanish graciously reappearing in the demon realm.

"Let go!" Yang reminds Liuwen bluntly as she clings to his robe thus she takes off her hand nervously and walks to a distance.

"Why did you bring me here?" Liuwen asks anxiously while staring at the place.

"It's for the better" Yang walks over to a stool and sits down while shutting his eyes.

"Hey! Take me out of here!" Liuwen screams annoyingly.

"Don't piss me off." Yang's magic prowess surrounds him as he cultivates quietly.

"Fine!" She flings her hand in the air angrily.

"Just wait once my master sees you, your life won't be yours to say." Liuwen crosses her arms confidently.

"The lazy one?" Yang scoffs annoyingly with his eyes closed.

"My master is the God of War! You wait and see!" She exclaims vividly and Yang opens his eyes immediately.

"God of War?" He asks anxiously with a fearful reaction.

"Hehe, someone is scared now, huh?" Liuwen drops her hands on her waist courageously and Yang laughs mockingly.

"What?" Liuwen asks anxiously.

"Well, the God of War I know will never care for a stupid fairy like you" Yang stands up from the stool.

"Get ready to wait for a thousand decades" Yang added mocking and vanishes graciously.

"Hey! Demon! Hey you" Liuwen squeals apathetically.

"Master, yes she has been absent for two days now" Ling Quan reports to Jue Chen who sits calmly on the zither with his fingers on it, on hearing the report he stops playing and stands up immediately from the stool.

"And why are you informing me now?" he asks angrily with a fearful facial expression thus Ling Quan trembles in fear as he mutters to himself, Jue Chen exhales and sits gently back on the stool.

"Anyways, she is such a naughty and playful little girl. She will come back soon" Jue Chen informs slyly and Ling Quan nods in adjournment.

"Sure master but I will let you know sooner about the new development" Ling Quan informs courteously and leaves the hall.

"Umm," Jue Chen nods slowly in response and starts playing the zither again.

Ta! Ta! Ta! The sound of the stick echoes as Liuwen hits it strongly on a big dead olive tree. She looks sad with a confused facial expression.

Liuwen keeps hitting the stick on the tree as Yang appears and approaches her.

"Little fairy, skipping lunch again?" Yang asks sarcastically.

"I am not hungry." She snorts angrily and walks away from him approaching the guest chamber.

"Any news for me?" She mutters nervously in a low tone and Yang smirks.

"Are you waiting for your fanatical 'God of War'? He will never come!" Yang snorts mocking as he continues laughing while Liuwen stares at him angrily.

The demon lord's subordinate and some demon soldiers walk in.

"Greetings, Your Highness." They bow immediately as they approach Yang and he immediately beckons them for a rise, Yang and the demon lord subordinate walk over to another corner and start discussing in a low tone.

"Even if I am not important to him at least I am a heaven breed, they can't forget about me – not him!" Liuwen thinks angrily as she hits the stick harder.

A bright red light catches everyone's attention as Jue Chen appears at the top and settles on the land graciously.

Everyone in the demon realm including, Yang kneels in kowtow.

"God of War." They bow courteously, while Liuwen stares at Jue Chen in admiration.

Jue Chen ignores them and asks courageously as his voice echoes authoritatively:

"Is she a captive or a visitor?"

Yang stutters fearfully while Liuwen smiles with a blush.

"He—he came for me!" she mutters sheepishly to herself.
