For the years July has been with Rachael vice versa none of them have seen each other's parents thus they promise and fix a date to visit them together.
July and Rachael walks into the Thompsons mansion and approaches the spacious empty living room.
Sarah rushes out of the kitchen with an apron tied around her neck, she let out a bright smile on seeing them and excuses herself to call on her husband.
The reception Rachael got from July's parents was a warm one, they discuss on different topics freely with each other and Rachael shared some of her childhood great experience while Mr. Thompson advises the two grown adults.
Rachael stayed till midday thus she had lunch with July's family happily, she notice that Sarah was a loving woman while Thompson was a caring father but act all vicious at times. The lunch went all nice as Rachael compliments the dishes prepared by Sarah, July brags sarcastically feeling proud of having a great chef as mother.
Rose volunteers to be at the pet clinic in the absence of July and Rachael.
Rose sits behind the counter caressing little pet cats on the table when the entrance door rings loudly, she immediately stands up to welcome the customer but stands speechless facing the customer in surprise and admiration.
Hot, freaking handsome, thin, fair skinned, small dimple, perfect haircut, she quietly scrutinize the perfect stranger with her eyes.
"It seems one could fine true love in this pet clinic" Rose mutters sarcastically to herself as the stranger approaches her walking courageously.
The guy introduced himself as "Jake Crow" living at the next street close to the clinic, he moved into the neighborhood newly and his pet dog fall ill. Rose sheepishly nods her head while listening to the gracious voice of the stranger.
Jake carefully hands his dog to her with which she receives nervously and starts treating on the health of the dog.
Rose didn't allow her first love go down the drain thus she requested for his contact using the medium of being his pet doctor, he slyly agreed to her explanation and they exchange contact while she gaze at him cowardly in happiness and love.
As planned, July and Rachael highlights from the designated cab and approaches an old house looking big with dying flowers around it.
Rachael rings the door bell countless times as an aged woman looking unkempt opens the door slyly and ushers them in, July wonders what was happening but didn't say a word as she walks into the living room with Rachael.
The living room looks unkempt, dirty, dead television covered with cobwebs, running cockroaches, rough dirty sofas, dead bulb sparkling in its socket, her former house in Dagenham was hell better than this, she thought.
Not to create any awareness July cautiously sits on the armchair closer to Rachael. Rachael briefly explains and introduces her mother "Jessica Dylan" to July, July coughs nervously and clasped her hands in apology.
Due to the dirty house and poor health of Rachael's mum, they didn't stay long in the house thus they walk quietly on the nearby street searching for an empty cab.
July queries Rachael for hiding the truth of her background for too long and not telling her of her struggles even when they were friend.
Rachael gave her reasons with a little apology and July forgoes it promising to be visiting her sick mum in weekends and leisure, they enter into the cab smoothly with sad smile on their faces.
