Perfect Stranger

"Thank you so much for this gift brother" a young beautiful lady with delicate skin smiles happily as she ends the call, she happily caresses the hairy body of her new cat while walking up the stairs.

July stumbles and falls on the floor dragging Michael with her, he smirks mockingly and sits upright on the floor.

"Why did you drink alcohol when you know ..." Michael tries to speak but July put a finger on his lips, he falls silent.

"Shiii ..." July shush in a low impulsive tone as he faces her anxiously.

"Rachael ... do you still love her?" July asks somnolently in a sad tone and Michael pulls her finger gradually off his lips with a smile.

"No" Michael mutters softly to July, she laughs awkwardly.

"Who is it then?" July asks nervously, still staring deeply into his eyes.

"I love you" Michael faces July but unfortunately she passes out unconsciously, he exhales sadly and carries her off the floor walking to her bedroom.

"The success of getting ahead is getting started" July reads the clip card on the wall softly to herself as the music interludes gradually.

July sits on the comfortable chair behind the counter as the doorbell rings, Rachael comes in.

"Bitch" July squeals angrily.

"What did I do?" Rachael denies inferably.

"You set me up with Michael"

"You know I detest alcohol" July scolds sadly.

"We were celebrating" Rachael scoffs sarcastically.

"I HATE YOU" July rolls her eyes annoyingly.

"I'm sorry" Rachael apologizes solemnly, July smiles brightly.

"Sitting here all day with no customer"

"Won't you find a part time job?" Rachael asks slyly while July prepares two cups of coffee.

"Your boss refuses to hire me, so?" July walks out of the counters holding two cups, she gives one to Rachael which she receives with a smile.

"I will definitely put an eye on any vacancy post I see, both online and offline" Rachael assures sarcastically with a smile.

"Is there no work today?" July asks anxiously while turning on her laptop.

"I will leave now, my boss can be a thorn in the flesh" Rachael complains ironically as pegs July quickly and leaves the building, July exhales happily.

July drinks the coffee gradually and scrolls the mouse anxiously as she checks her novels on author's sites like NovelCAT, Starry Writing, Radish, Skweek, Light reader, Wattpad and Episode.

"Oh lord, when will I ever be paid?"

"If only I can be opportune to sign one contract" July pauses.

"My life will never remain the same" July mutters sadly to herself as she updates her novels and appreciates her new followers.

Unknown to July, Evening approached so fast and there were no customers. July sadly shut down her laptop standing up from the chair as someone rushed into the clinic.

"You ..." July pauses at a spot as she gazes at the young man in surprise and admiration.

The handsome stranger is very handsome, has an ocean blue pair of eyes, curly carved hair, tall with an alluring masculine physique one could tell he does exercise. He stands at the counter holding a big lovely dog full of hair in his arms, after some minute of admiration July rushes over to him cowardly.

"How is he?"

"What happened to him?" July asks anxiously taking the dog from his arm.

"He suddenly refuses to eat and reject treatment from private veterans"

"While going, he collapsed at the back seat" the handsome stranger explains skeptically in a sullen tone while July carefully treats the dog.

"He is a very strong and lovely dog," July said nervously, still attending to the dog, the stranger nodding his head slyly.

"What's the name of your dog?" July asks awkwardly trying to create a conversation but the stranger sighs as if annoyed then she exhales sadly.

"Your dog is pregnant"

"Unknown to us, it's a female dog," July informs happily as she wraps the dog with her arms lovingly, the stranger nodding his head in admiration.

"This clinic looks hideous but you work wonders" the stranger nods slowly as he stands up from the chair.

"His voice.... is so lovely" July mutters unconsciously to herself in a low tone smiling sheepishly.

"I will double your pay" the stranger carries his dog carefully off July's arm.

"Thank you" the stranger said politely as he leaves the building while July stands at the side of the counter staring at the stranger through the transparent glasses as he leaves.

July sees Michael greeting the customer pleasantly, she smile.

"They seem close" she mutters softly to herself as she faces down looking at the cheque.

"One thousand dollars"

"For what?" she exclaims in surprise as Michael enters with a smile.

"July"

"You are so lucky today" Michael said courageously sitting on the chair closer to the transparent glass wall.

"Lucky? Why?" July fold the check neatly and slide it into a notebook.

"That was Dee"

"The handsome billionaire bachelor in town" Michael informs confidently.

"He looks like one" July pulls off the hand gloves gradually.

"Are you ready? I will drive you" Michael stands up from the seat approaching July happily.

"Wait in the car"

"I will meet you in a sec." July replies happily with a sheepish wink, Michael nods affirmatively and leaves the building.

"Dee"

"He is so handsome" July mutters lovingly to herself as she leaves to the bathroom.

In the beautiful apartment, Tony sits comfortably on the armchair as Rachael walks out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee.

"Here" Rachael drops the coffee gently on the table.

"Mr. Tony, why are you here?" Rachael asks anxiously as she sits on another armchair.

"I've been out of town, I miss you" Tony said impulsively as he drinks the coffee gradually.

"You are my boss"

"I can't do anything with you" Rachael informs politely with a stern facial expression as the cloud makes a thunderous sound.

"Rachael, please understand my feelings" Tony pleads sadly.

"It's about to rain, you betters leave for I don't have extra room" Rachael snorts annoyingly as she carries the empty cup from the table and leaves to the kitchen.

"I'm staying over Rachael"

"And I also have some good news for you" Tony replies loudly at the top of his voice making Rachael to rush out of the kitchen looking curious.

"Doctor, is my cat okay?" a young lady asks sadly as she stares at July anxiously while July carefully check on the cat.

"No internal injury" July informs politely as she continues checking other parts on the cat body.

"Will my cat die?" the lady asks anxiously, July smirks.

"Not in my clinic"

July injects the cat and allows it to rest for some minute "Meow" the cat makes a sharp sound thus the owner smile happily.

"Thank you so much doctor" the young lady appreciates happily leaving the clinic with her healthy cat.

July gradually removes the hand gloves off her hands as a notification binges on her phone.

"Five thousand dollars!" July exclaims in surprise and Rachael nods her head affirmatively.

"Which part of my body do they want?" July asks sarcastically with all seriousness.
